Right after booking, the client gets a confirmation; 24 hours ahead, a reminder by email and a push notification. You get a push notification for every new or cancelled booking.
Guest bookings without an account
New clients do not need an account to book. Clients who use the app see their appointments and can move or cancel them themselves.
Recurring appointments in one go
Schedule regulars weeks or months ahead, with exceptions per date. Several treatments in one booking and add-ons clients pick themselves are possible too.
Marketplace with 0% commission

Can I put my booking link in Instagram?
Yes. Your booking link is an ordinary link, so you can put it in your Instagram bio, on your Google Business Profile (as website or appointment link), in your WhatsApp profile and on your own website. Clients who tap it pick a treatment and a free time and book right away, without an account.
What is the difference between a booking system and a booking platform?
A booking system is your own scheduler: clients book through your link and the client data is yours. A booking platform is a marketplace where clients compare salons; there you often pay commission on new clients. Lookster combines both: your own booking system plus a listing on the Lookster marketplace, with 0% commission.
Do my clients get a reminder for their appointment?
Yes. Right after booking, clients get a confirmation by email and push; 24 hours ahead, a reminder by email and a push notification; after the appointment, a review request. These reminders are free, with no SMS costs.
Do clients need an account to book?
No. Clients book as a guest with their name, email address and phone number. Clients who book more often can use the free Lookster app to see, move or cancel their appointments.
Can I schedule recurring appointments for regular clients?
Yes. You schedule a regular weeks or months ahead in one go, for example every three weeks on Thursday. You can always move or cancel one appointment in the series without changing the rest.
